FBI offers reward in gang shooting at Middle Georgia bar

MACON, Ga. (AP) — The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a nightclub shooting that left three men dead.

Special Agent in Charge J. Britt Johnson said the reward is for tips that lead to the arrest of Tavarus Coney.

The FBI said in a statement that Bibb County authorities have obtained arrest warrants charging Coney with murder, aggravated assault and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention act for his role in the Wings Café shooting on Dec. 12, 2014.

Several other suspects have been charged in the killings.

The FBI says the reward is in addition to a previously announced $1,000 reward from law enforcement.
