Lowcountry beachgoers witness about 98% totality during the 2017 Solar Eclipse

HUNTING ISLAND, Sc. (WSAV) – In the Lowcountry, people visiting Hunting Island State Park were able to see about 98% totality during the 2017 Solar Eclipse. People traveled from Florida and North Carolina to lounge on the beach in their  special eclipse glasses. Some came to witness their second solar eclipse, others just wanted to make sure they saw it at least once in their lifetime.
