HAMBURG, German (WSAV) — Hamburg, Germany is a city on edge ahead of the G20 summit.
Protesters clashed with police Thursday, many of them on streets to show their displeasure with President Donald Trump’s visit.
“We are here, to tell him to leave, and that he is not welcome,” said Deborah Kellerman.
Earlier, Mr. Trump received a much warmer response during the first stop on his European trip, Warsaw, Poland.
During a joint news conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, he warned of a possible “severe” response on the heels of North Korea’s successful test of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and announced an agreement to sell a U.S. missile defense system to Poland.
“We’re working with Poland in response to Russia’s actions and destabilizing behavior,” President Trump said.
