SAVANNAH, GA (WSAV) – On November 26, two masked suspects entered a Bank of America bank, located at 14083 Abercorn Street and demanded cash from the employees at gun point.
The robbers left with an undisclosed amount of money in a car they had waiting, according to officials.
The robbery is still under investigation and CrimeStoppers needs the public’s help in locating and arresting the two. You tip could be worth up to $7,500 if it leads to an arrest.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police and the FBI responded to the bank around 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 26. Surveillance photos show one suspect was wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, green cargo pants, and black sneakers. One suspect appeared to be carrying a messenger bag and wearing heavy gloves.
CrimeStoppers will pay up to $2,500 for any tips that lead to an arrest, and an additional $5,000 has been pledged upon the conviction of the person(s) responsible for the robbery.
