Istanbul, Turkey — (WSAV)
At least 29 people are dead, 166 others are injured after a double bombing in Istanbul, Turkey.
Turkey’s Interior Minister says 10 people have been detained in connection with the blasts.
The two explosions went off outside a soccer stadium Saturday as police were leaving after a soccer match.
Officials say 27 of the 29 killed were police officers.
Officials said two bombs appeared to have targeted police, hours after fans had left.
One of the blasts was thought to be a car bomb and the second, about 45 seconds later, appeared to have been caused by a suicide bomber.
