More than 1.2 million people in United States are living with HIV. Nearly one in eight of them don’t even know it.
In Georgia, the Centers for Disease Control says one in 51 people across the state will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
Joining us to talk about what’s being done in our community to bring awareness is Diane Devore, Communicable Disease Specialist from the Chatham County Health Department and Lloyd Johson who shares his personal connection to the disease.
