Bloomingdale Firefighter, Wife Killed By Tornado

Bloomingdale Fire is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Mark Faulk, Jr and his wife Saundra were killed by a tornado in the town of Ocoee, located in Polk County Tenn., this morning.

There’s not much information on what happened, but what is known is that they were in a mobile home when it was devastated by a tornado between 2:30 and 3:30 AM Wednesday Morning.

Mark was a lifelong citizen of Bloomingdale, a long haul trucker, and an active member of the Bloomingdale Fire Department.

His father was one of Bloomingdale’s original firefighters, and according to Chief Ferman Tyler Faulk has been with the department since he was a young man.
