City of Hinesville to Host Tree Lighting Celebration on Dec. 1

Tree Lighting Celebration. The City of Hinesville, in partnership with the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, will be hosting a Tree Lighting Celebration! This event is completely free and open to the public. There will be train rides for children, hot chocolate served by Vietnam Veterans, popcorn served by the Hinesville Police Department, photo opportunities with holiday characters, live music by Nu Direction and more.

The official city tree will be lit at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Allen Brown and the Hinesville City Council.
