Arrest made in fatal crash that killed Savannah news anchor

SAVANNAH, GA (WSAV) – Savannah-Chatham Metro PD have arrested Cleveland Antwan Coleman of Savannah for one count felony DUI involving death, 2 counts of felony DUI with great bodily harm following the early morning crash on November 20th near the Georgia state line.

That crash killed WTOC news anchor Don Logana and injured three others who were in the car at the time.

The driver, Erich Richter of Register, GA, remains in serious condition. The front seat passenger, Carlina Richter of Register, GA, is in stable condition and the backseat passenger on the driver’s side, Joshua Bridges of Savannah, remains in critical condition.

Coleman, who was driving the truck that collided head-on with the vehicle, was also taken to Memorial Hospital.

His extradition hearing took place at 9AM in Chatham County Superior Court.
