Officials in Garden City are asking neighbors to be sure all of their storm debris from Hurricane Matthew are in front of their property prior to Thanksgiving Day.
They have contracted Crowder Gulf, a waste & debris disposal company, to remove and dispose of residential tree and other materials resulting from Hurricane Matthew. The company began debris collection in Garden City Monday, October 31 and will cease operations on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Citizens are requested stockpile any remaining storm related debris from their yard along the curb in front of their house so that Crowder Gulf can haul it away.
After November 23rd, the disposal of any remaining debris will be the homeowner’s responsibility.
