2nd arrest in Statesboro murder investigation

STATESBORO, GA – (WSAV) The Statesboro Police Department announced a second arrest in the investigation of the murder of Forrest Kibler, 25. Police arrested Ashton Marquise King, 19, of Guyton Wednesay. Police charged King with murder. On November 4th, police were called to Park Place Apartments on Lanier Drive. They found Kibler dead from a gunshot wound.

Police previously arrested another suspect, Jamontea Marquil Pitts, 24, of Guyton on November 8th in Chatham County. Pitts has also been charged with murder.
