Documenting the DAPL protest: Local SCAD grad hopes to shed light on the controversial project

Supporters across the country are calling it a day of action… in solidarity with those at Standing Rock.

They are demanding the Federal Government and the Army Corps of Engineers reject the Dakota Access Pipeline.

In Savannah, a recent SCAD graduate is raising money to shoot a documentary about the pipeline and the protest to stop it.

MJ Bahr, the director of that documentary, and Henry Godwin, the sound supervisor, join us to shed some  light on what is going on and why they want to get involved.
