UPDATE: Metro police locate missing man

SAVANNAH, GA – (WSAV) Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police ask the public’s help in locating a missing 90-year-old man.

Police say Charles Towson, 90 left his residence at a senior facility located in the 6200 block of Waters Avenue about 4 p.m. Monday. He did not return for curfew. He was wearing dark colored plaid shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Towson is described as a white male standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches and weighing around 185 pounds. He is traveling in a silver 2008 Grand Marquis bearing a Disabled Veterans GA Plate # DV519A. He was last seen in Brunswick, GA.

Anyone with information about Towson’s location should contact the SCMPD tip line by dialing (912) 525-3124. Information may also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
