Hurricane Matthew devastated many of our communities- including the Oatland Island Wildlife Center.

Although the facility is still closed, they’re getting ready for their biggest fundraiser of the year.

Here’s how you can help get them back on their feet.
Next Saturday, November 19, bring the entire family to experience an old time southern tradition during the annual Harvest Festival and Cane Grinding.

Gates are open from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Savannah Folk Music Society will fill the forest with traditional songs while children enjoy hay rides, pony rides, crafts, games, a talent show and cake walk!

Food and refreshments will be available.

Admission for adults is $5, $3 for children (4-17), military and seniors.

The special fundraising event helps provide animal care and trail and habitat improvements.
