Savannah — (WSAV)

Now that Decision 2016 is in the history books, WSAV wanted to find out what voters expect from President-Elect Donald Trump.

From Pooler, to downtown, to the Islands, we found out voters have high expectations of Trump.

Many say they don’t believe he was elected because of his promise to build a wall near Mexico, or because of his stance on Obama Care.

They believe the media mogul was elected for one major reason, job creation.

And, voters hope they’ll be able to cash in on Trump’s promise to bring more jobs to America.

Other voters told us they’d also like to see a kinder, gentler, Commander in Chief.

“I hope the economy improves and that people can put their differences aside,” says Joanna Cartrette, from Whitemarsh Island.

“It would be nice to see a little bit more warmth and support for all populations of the U.S.,” says Vanessa Jaber, 22 year old voter.

Voters also said they’re anxious to find out who Trump will select for his cabinet.
