Earlier this year, we were excited to learn that Savannah’s own Chef Joe Randall earned a spot in the prestigious National Museum of African American History and Culture.
Today, another announcement that he’s ending one chapter of his life by closing the doors to his famous cooking school at the end of the year.
Chef Randall says after spending more than a half century in the culinary industry, he’s not hanging up his chef’s hat completely.
He’ll still be in the kitchen from time to time.
Meanwhile, he’s planning a ‘pop-up dinner’ January 7 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah.
He’s expecting around 200 guests from all over the country to help him celebrate.
We’ll have more details for you about the event in the coming weeks.
