Our Hometown: Volunteers needed for Hoofs 4 Healing cleanup

On the heels of Hurricane Matthew, one local organization suffered another devastating blow.

A fire destroyed the Hoofs 4 Healing classrooms, offices, and living quarters.

The non-profit organization uses horses as therapy to positively help lives both physically and mentally.

Now, they’re hoping you can lend a hand as they try to get back on their feet.

Founder and director, Karrie Henry wants to continue to provide services to families this fall.

Here’s how you can pitch in.

Saturday, November 5, they’re holding a community clean-up event from 10 am to 5 pm at 1514 B Old Dean Forest Road in Garden City.

If you’d like to help, call: (912) 675-0434 or email: hoofs4healing@gmail.com.
