Information needed in recent Downtown Savannah robberies

SAVANNAH, GA (WSAV) – On Monday, Oct. 25, shortly after 8 p.m. two males attempted to rob a man and a woman walking on Lincoln and East State streets, according to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department’s Robbery Unit.

Not too long after that attempted robbery, two males robbed a woman walking on East Bryan and Price streets of her possessions.

No injuries were reported and a weapon was used in both incidences, according to officials. The suspects left the scene on foot.

The suspects are described as black male juveniles, around five-feet-five-inches to five-feet-seven-inches with short haircuts and no facial hair. During the robbery and attempted robbery one was wearing a white shirt and khaki pants. The second was wearing a black shirt and pants and white sneakers.
