BLUFFTON, SC (WSAV) – Walmart will be opening a new store in Bluffton this winter and with it’s grand opening the company is hoping to aid the community by bringing up to 300 full and part-time positions.
There will be a temporary hiring center at 1017 Fording Island Road, Ste. 102F and applications will be accepted Monday. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 8-6 p.m. and Tuesday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to a release from Walmart Media Relations.

“We’re excited to get to know applicants and continue to build a team to serve the Bluffton community, “said store manager TJ Boolukos.
In addition, Walmart will offer a job to any eligible U.S. veteran honorably discharged from active duty since the Veterans Welcome Home Commitment began on Memorial Day 2013. These 300 new associates in Bluffton will join the team of 32,353 Walmart associates in South Carolina.
