SAVANNAH, Ga. – Days after Hurricane Matthew wreaked havoc in Savannah the city leaders were briefed on its condition.
Ten city departments gave reports of their roles during and after the storm.
Public works commented on the number of traffic signals out while metro added the additional aid they received from various state resources.
Efforts city leaders say do not go unnoticed.
“City staff and our residents, we’re just in a phenomenal community and then the be relevance from those who came from far and near to help us,” Van Johnson, District 1 Alderman, said.
Those officials did ask questions on how some can get trees removed to ongoing power outages.
