Catastrophic Claims Center Open Thursday in Bluffton

As the clean up begins in the Lowcountry, insurance companies will play a big role in getting life back to normal again.

The Home Depot in Bluffton played host to 25 different insurance companies Wednesday, all available to answer questions and begin the process of filing a claim.

The South Carolina Catastrophic Claims Senter gives everyone a chance to find out the difference between flood and wind coverage, and what you need to do to get the trees off your home or property – before and after insurance kicks in.

The Catastrophic Claims Center will be open again Thursday from 10am to 5pm at the Home Depot on Highway 278 in Bluffton.

The South Carolina Department of Insurance will also be there to answer your questions, along with other insurance companies and FEMA.
