Hurricane Matthew curfews

Chatham County is enforcing a DUSK to DAWN curfew until further notice. Those seen out after curfew will be arrested/

Camden County has issued a curfew that will begin at 10 p.m. on October 7 and end at 6 a.m. October 8. A decision to extend the curfew will be made on a day to day basis.

Port Wentworth Police are enforcing a DUSK to DAWN curfew in areas east of I-95, effective immediately.

Liberty County is under a DUSK to DAWN curfew effective immediately until further notice.

The city of Hinesville is under a DUSK to DAWN curfew, effective immediately, until further notice.

The Mayor and City Manager of Beaufort, SC have issued a curfew for the City of Beaufort from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

Long County Sheriff, Craig Nobles is asking residents to stay off the roads and streets this evening and has asked the public to observe a Voluntary Dusk to Dawn Curfew within Long County while Hurricane Matthew makes its way through the area.  This request is in effect only for this evening.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a mandatory curfew beginning at 7 p.m. tonight and it will be heavily enforced until sunrise October 8. It will then resume at sunset on the 8th until sunrise on the 9th. Curfew may be extended, if needed.
