Woman arrested for allegations of stealing funds from adult literacy program

VIDALIA, GA – (WSAV) The Vidalia Police Department announcing the arrest of Kimberly Taylor, 41 of a Lyons for felony theft by conversion. Police say her arrest was part of a lengthy investigation into the disappearance of funds belonging to Southeastern Technical College that was to be used towards the Adult Literacy Program. Police say Taylor was in charge of the Adult Literacy Program. Police say Taylor had over several years converted for her personal use $51,794.17 that belonged to the program.
