Tropical Storm Lisa forecasted to weaken

With wind speeds of 50 mph, Lisa is still a tropical storm.

Tropical Storm Lisa is moving northwest near 8 mph. This direction is leading Lisa into an unfavorable environment, so weakening is forecasted over the next few days.

As of 5:00 pm the storm was about 760 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Island. Lisa is expected to loss strength and become a tropical depression by the weekend.

Tropical Storm Lisa will stay in the Atlantic Ocean and therefore causes no threat to the U.S.
