Here is the latest position on Tropical Depression Karl and Tropical Storm Lisa.

We are tracking two tropical systems in the Atlantic Ocean tonight.

First is Tropical Depression Karl. At 11pm… Karl remains poorly organized with max sustained winds of 35 mph. The storm is around 725 miles south/southeast of Bermuda… moving northwest around 15 mph.

Karl is expected to continue northwest overnight and Thursday… followed by a turn to the north Thursday night or Friday. Conditions appear favorable for slow strengthening over the next couple of days… and Karl could regain tropical storm strength Thursday. The storm is expected to pass well east of Bermuda Friday night and Saturday as a tropical storm.

We are also tracking tropical storm Lisa in the eastern Atlantic. Lisa is located about 620 miles west/northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and has max sustained winds of 45 mph. The storm is moving to the north/northwest around 7 mph.

The storm should remain out to sea and only be a concern for marine interests.
