The Bridge: Savannah Protest Movement historical marker tells story of efforts to end segregation

This week, the Savannah College of Art and Design will host ‘Visionary Voices,’ an event commemorating the courage of Savannah students during the 1960s Civil Rights Movement.

Joining us at the table today is former Savannah Mayor Edna Jackson and Darrell Naylor Johnson, SCAD Senior Director of Library Services, to talk about an attempt to make sure important pieces of history aren’t forgotten.
