SAVANNAH, Ga. Savannah Police, with assistance from several agencies, arrested three suspects in the shooting of two women on Jefferson Street in August.
The women were found shot inside a vehicle at the intersection of Victory Drive and Barnard Street on August 20th. They were identified as 30-year-old Stephanie Smith and 36-year-old Rasheedah Bostick. Detectives determined the women were shot on West 32nd and Jefferson Streets before driving to Victory and Barnard. Smith died of her injuries on August 25th.
On Tuesday September 13th, SCMPD with assistance from the Southeast Reginal Fugitive Task Force and the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Javon Jackson and his brother 18-year-old Rodney Smith. Both are facing charges of malice murder.
The next day, 23-year-old Eboni Washington was arrested and charged with felony murder.
Police believe the three suspects exchanged gunfire with the victims.
