Metro Police investigate reported Sunday shooting on Bull Street

SAVANNAH, Ga.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a reported shooting near Bull and 40th streets, that happened on Sunday, Sept. 4th.

At about 6:30 p.m. Metro officers responded to Memorial University Medical Center, where a 17-year-old victim arrived in a privately owned vehicle seeking care for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Reportedly, the victim was walking on Bull Street when he was shot by an unknown suspect.

Metro officers are working to confirm the location of the shooting.

Circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation.
