Good morning everyone! Yesterday we hit 95 degrees in Savannah and today’s forecast calls for similar conditions.
This morning: Lots of sunshine and lots of humidity. Temperatures will be in the 80s.
This afternoon: Highs from the upper 80s along the beaches to mid-upper 90s inland. Summertime humidity will make heat index values reach 100-105+ degrees as we approach the peak heating hours(12pm-5pm). Isolated showers and storms for the afternoon, with most of the activity popping up in our western and southern counties. Only a 10-20% chance along the beaches, with a 20-30% chance for the inland communities.
This evening: Overall, calm and quiet conditions. The sun will be setting tonight at 8:09pm. Any storm activity should back off after this time. Muggy and warm overnight.
Enjoy your Sunday!
