Former Mayor shares thoughts about similarities and differences between BLM & Civil Rights Movement in 1960's

(SAVANNAH) Former Savannah Mayor, Edna Jackson, sits down with WSAV’s Martin Staunton to talk about the similarities and differences between the push for civil rights in the 1960’s and the Black Lives Matter movement of today. Jackson was among thousands of young African Americans in Savannah in the 1960’s who participated in many protests, sit-ins, wade-ins, and rallies, to dismantle segregation in the Hostess City.
