Savannah Youth Ambassadors to host Make-A-Difference projects in two area neighborhoods

The Savannah Youth Ambassadors (SYA) will host two upcoming Make-A-Difference (M.A.D.) community impact projects for the Carver Village and Paradise Park communities. SYA is a leadership training institute consisting of 40 local high school students. It’s sponsored by the City of Savannah Community and Economic Development Bureau.

To prepare for the project, SYA teams met with neighborhood leaders and surveyed residents to learn more about their communities in order to design a plan based on their needs. Participants also took part in leadership development courses focusing on personal, social and community development, project management, budgeting and marketing skills to make their projects successful.
