Trump is now his party's presumptive nominee, but in many ways, he's breaking the Republican mold. On a handful of issues, from trade to national defense, Trump has the potential to run to the left of likely Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. And on others, from taxes to social security, he sounds an awful lot like a Democrat. (AP Photo/Mary Altaffer, File)

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The city of Cleveland has released a list of banned items not allowed inside the Republican National Convention “event zone.”

Some of the items include fireworks, lasers, switchblades and any dangerous ordinance, weapon or firearm that is prohibited by Ohio law.

Other items include tents, umbrellas with metal tips, tape or rope longer than six inches. The complete list contains over 27 categories of items.

The “event zone” excludes secure spaces accessible to the public, such as streets, sidewalks and public grounds.

The convention begins July 18 and will host 2,470 delegates and 50,000 spectators.
