Dollywood trail mixes recalled for possible listeria

PIGEON FORGE (WATE) – The makers of certain packages of trail mix sold at Dollywood are issuing a recall because of sunflower kernels that may contain listeria.

Rucker’s Makin’ Batch Candies is recalling Dollywood Cajun Mix sold in 9 ounce bags with a UPC label of 4900005033302. The recall only affects packages with best by codes ranging from 01/23/16 through 11/11/16.

Last month, a recall was issued for Sweet & Salty Trail Mix sold in 11 ounce bags at Dollywood with UPC label 490000503272 and best by codes of 11-22-16 and 1-16-17.

No illnesses have been reported. If you have either of these mixes, do not eat them. If you want a refund, you can contact Rucker’s at (618) 945-7778 or 888-622-2639 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central time or emailericf7@ruckerscandy.com.

The recall is one of many issued following distributor SunOpta’s recall of sunflower kernels that may contain listeria.
