SAVANNAH, Ga. – Island’s Precinct Officers arrested three men for gun and drug possession early Tuesday morning.
Two officers noticed a suspicious vehicle prowling the 200 block of Iowa Street. The driver then parked on the wrong side of the street, prompting the officers to initiate a traffic stop.
Police found more than 130 baggies of drugs packaged for sale, along with a gun. Inside the baggies, police found 100 grams of marijuana and 50 grams of cocaine in powder and crack form
34-year-old Jamal Skipper, 50-year-old Kenneth Johnson and 31-year-old Marcu Robinson were taken into custody.
Skipper and Robinson were charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, possession of powdered cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, trafficking illicit substances and three counts of possession with intent to sell. Skipper was also charged with loitering and prowling, and driving with a revoked license.
