11pm Saturday Update on Post-Tropical Cyclone Bonnie

Final Update and Forecast Track on Bonnie... now a Post-Tropical Cyclone.

Bonnie has become a remnant low pressure area… and has lost its tropical depression status.

At 11 pm… the center of tropical depression Bonnie was about 180 miles north/northeast of Bermuda. The storm is moving to the east/southeast at 16 mph… and this general motion with some increase in forward speed is expected on Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph with higher gusts. These winds are expected to gradually decrease on Sunday before the system degenerates into a trough.

Minimum central pressure is 1009 mb.

No watches or warnings are in effect with Bonnie… and the storm is not going to affect our weather in the Coastal Empire and Low Country.
