Three teens killed, one flown to hospital after Jasper County accident

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. – Three South Carolina teens were killed and a fourth was flown by helicopter to the hospital after an accident on I95 in Jasper County according to officials.

It happened on Interstate 95 northbound near exit 22 just before 10pm Wednesday night.  The Jasper County Coroner said they ran off the road and into the trees.  Investigators believe they were going in excess of 100 miles an hour.

The victims were Tykeem Johnson (18) of Ruffin, Jakeem Pinckney of Smokes (18), and Jashawn Brown (17) of Walterboro.

The fourth victim, O’Shay Wiggins (18) of Walterboro was airlifted to Memorial and is in critical condition.

Authorities say the teens traveled to attend a graduation in Jasper County.
