Our Hometown: Bulloch County church to honor Emma Kelly during spring benefit

Join New Hope United Methodist Church in Bulloch County for it’s Spring Fling benefit in honor of legendary pianist and singer, Emmay Kelly.

The Statesboro native, dubbed by Savannah’s own Johnny Mercer as the Lady of 6,000 songs, grew up in New Hope.

In fact, her very first public performance as a pianist took place there when she was just 6 years old.

Bring the entire family for a day of food, fellowship, and festivities!

There will be live performances from Emma’s son- Ross Kelly and the Statesboro Blues Band, along with Perry Russell as Elvis and The John Alan Brown Band.

The fun takes place this Saturday, May 21 from 11:30 am to 7: 30 pm.
