Cummings reported the car stolen, and police located it around 10:30 that night.
The teens were later discovered beaten and bound in a Pooler subdivision.
Suspected car thief, 19-year-old Diquan Mikell, and a 15-year-old male both suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Cummings turned himself in to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police about a week after the crime.
He was a three year player at Beach High School from 2010-2013, averaging 15.5 points for game for the Bulldogs as a Senior.
He was given a scholarship to Enterprise State after he graduated.
