Savannah Arts Academy is recognized as the 104th best high school in the United States, #4 in the state of Georgia. Woodville-Tompkins Technical & Career High School received a Bronze Medal.

The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Just over 6,000 of those schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments, their graduation rates, and how well they prepare students for college.

The top 500 schools were awarded Gold medals and receive a national ranking.

The 2016 recognitions are based on 2013-14 School Year data.
