FUGITIVE FILES UPDATE: Sex Offender Arrested

UPDATE: Anthony Laroche was arrested just before midnight Thursday, just hours after we first showed you his picture on News 3’s Fugitive Files at 6pm.

He is the 169th suspect arrested after being profiled on Fugitive Files.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s SORT team is asking for helping finding 27 year old Anthony Laroche.

“We don’t want this to occur again,” said Chatham County Sheriff’s Investigator Jermaine Maxwell

He’s a convicted child molester who has also spent time in prison just last year for failing to register as a sex offender.

Now he’s on the run again.

“We received a tip that he might be in the Sandfly area,” says Maxwell. “He was seen walking down Skidaway road. Myself and another investigator canvassed the area, we weren’t able to find him.”

Anthony Laroche is 5’8″ 200 pounds. He has family on Beaufort road. He could also be in Sandfly or along Ogeechee road.

“If we cant pin him at one point its hard to locate him,” said Investigator Maxwell. “We can ride around the streets all day, but if you don’t have that one area and be him being homeless we can’t pinpoint”
