TOASTY temperatures develop later this week across the Coastal Empire and Low Country

Here is the much warmer Wednesday through Friday forecast for Savannah... the coastal empire and low country.

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday across coastal Georgia and South Carolina… with mostly sunny skies and highs today in the upper 70s to around 80.

We will enjoy very pleasant weather Monday with sunshine and a few clouds thanks to high pressure in control of our area… edging just offshore the Atlantic coast.

Here is a look at your Monday weather map.

Here are forecast highs tomorrow (Monday) for coastal Georgia and South Carolina.

Here is the Monday beach forecast… great looking weather along the sand and shore!

Changes… however… will be developing mid and late this upcoming week as a strong upper level storm system and associated chilly air stall over the intermountain west and northern/central Rockies. This will allow upper level height rises over the east… giving way to much warmer air.

This means that we get into the mid to upper 80s Wednesday… and upper 80s to around 90 Thursday and Friday. These are inland temperatures… cooler readings are expected on coastal islands.

Enjoy your week and stay tuned to WSAV and Storm Team 3 for your latest weather forecasts!
