Waterborne infections to watch for

Be careful at the beach this spring and summer... there are hazards to watch for.

There has been a recent rise in the number of waterborne infections in certain parts of the country. And as water temperatures continue to rise, so will the bacteria counts increasing this threat. If you are out on the water and notice that you have any sort of swelling near a puncture wound, it’s critical to get immediate medical attention.
