Savannah, GA (WSAV) -UPDATE: On Sunday, 17-year-old Zavier Washington turned himself in to SCMPD and confessed to the shooting of David Walker.
Walker was walking down 42nd Street on February 28th, right behind the WSAV News Station, when he was shot and seriously injured.
Washington was arrested and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center without further incident.
Savannah police are searching for information about the shooting of a teenager on 42nd Street late Sunday afternoon.
Investigators believe David Walker, 18, was walking down the street when he was shot. His injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.
It is unclear if he was targeted.
