Savannah, GA (WSAV) – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning. The man has now been identified as Brandon Champion.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police told News 3 they were called to the shoulder of Southbound Harry Truman Parkway for a report of an injured man.
When they arrived on scene, they found the man had a serious gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers said the incident does not appear to be a random shooting and this is an ongoing investigation.
