JEFF DAVIS COUNTY, Ga. – The Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office confiscated 31 pounds of methamphetamine from two trailers, the largest seizure in the county’s history.
The ongoing investigation led the Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security to two Jeff Davis County residences. Search warrants were obtained for both trailers leading to the discovery of the drugs and several firearms.
Investigators say the drugs have a street value of over a million dollars.
Francisco Valencia of Hazelhurst was arrested and charged with with multiple crimes trafficking methamphetamine.
A warrant was also issued for Jesus Ochoa Valencia who remains at large.
