Our Hometown: SSU Hosts 2nd Annual Indie Film Fest this Week

Join the Golden Tigers Film Society and Savannah State University’s Department of Journalism and Mass Communications this week as they host the 2nd annual SSU Indie Film Festival!

The 2-day festival opens Wednesday, April 13, in Torian Auditorium in the Howard Jordan building with a red carpet arrival beginning at 6 pm, followed by the  screening of more than 25 of the institution’s best student films. Categories include: music video, comedy, documentary, and drama.

Thursday, April 14, will be a day of workshops for students to learn from industry professionals about the business and various components.
the event is free and open to the public.
