Police investigate shooting that lead to school lockdown

SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah police investigate a shooting Monday that lead to a lockdown at Savannah High School. Police say it happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. A shooter fired shots at a teenager from the second story of an apartment building. The incident lead to a lockdown of Savannah High School. The lockdown was lifted after Metro officers deemed the area safe. Police are looking for a suspect described as a young, light-skinned black male wearing a camouflage jacket and red “Duck Dynasty” hat.
