15-year-old arrested Savannah armed robbery

SAVANNAH, Ga. – A 15-year-old is facing armed robbery charges after he held another teen at gunpoint, according to police.

The suspect, who’s not identified due to his age, was caught Wednesday afternoon on East 32nd Street

Police say a 17-year-old was walking home from school near the Truman Parkway Overpass when the suspect pulled a gun on him.

An officer in an unmarked patrol car witnessed the robbery and pursued the teen.  After a brief pursuit, the teen suspect was apprehended and taken to the Regional Youth Detention Center.
