Savannah State celebrates Women’s History Month

The 2nd Annual Women’s Leadership Conference featured Women Rising in Media And The Arts.
I shared some golden nuggets about having work and life balance.
A combination of speakers planted seeds of inspiration for women.
Life Coach Nashawn Turner focused on moving life forward…asking women what is their “next chapter” and how do you get there.
“Women in our community they want to move to the next level, but many times they don’t really understand how.  They feel like they basically become stagnant in their careers.  So at Savannah State we want women to be inspired and learn from other women that have paved the way,”
explains SSU Chief Information Officer Mable Moore
This year Savannah State celebrated Women in Media and the Arts.
As an Evening News Anchor here at WSAV I’m honored to receive The Media Arts Community Service Award along with WSAV Coastal Sunrise Anchor Kim Gusby.
