Bluffton businesses fined for selling alcohol to underage patrons

BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Bluffton Police Department Special Investigations Unit fined several lowcountry stores and restaruants for selling alcohol to under-aged buyers.

It was all part of an Alcohol Compliance Check conducted periodically throughout the year.  Police and SLED checked 16 stores and restaurants and four of those sold to the underage buyer who was working with police.

Cinco Mexican Grill, Balaeda Express, Big Jims Liquors, and Supermexicado Grocery were all cited.

Outback Steakhouse, Blue Water Gas Station, Chin Dynasty, Enmark, Pour Richards Bar, Kobe Steakhouse, Shell Station Plantation Park, Chow Dadddy’s, Jim N Nicks, Mellow Mushroom and Fiesta Fresh did not sell to the buyer.
